 Activ RallySport have had a disappointing end to round three of the
Australian Rally Championship, rolling out of the QUIT Forest Rally
yesterday.
However, despite their misfortune, they still lie in fifth place at the half-way point of the championship.

Solid fourth for Dowel in Heat 1 of Forest Rally

 Justin Dowel and Matt Lee have taken the Activ RallySport Mitsubishi
Lancer Evo IX to a solid fourth place in Heat 1 of the QUIT Forest
Rally in Western Australia.
Currently fourth in the 2009 Australian Rally Championship, Dowel and
Lee started the third round of the championship in a confident mood
after a successful pre-event test session, and quickly slipped into the
groove.

 Warm, dry and extremely dusty conditions await the Activ RallySport
pairing of Justin Dowel and Matt Lee heading into this weekend’s QUIT
Forest Rally, the third round of the Australian Rally Championship
(ARC).
After finishing a brilliant fourth in last month’s Rally of Canberra,
Dowel and Lee are determined to continue their push towards a podium
finish, and improve on their current fourth place in the ARC.

Date change for Rally Tasmania TV coverage

 The TV coverage of the first round of the Australian Rally Championship, Rally Tasmania, will not be seen this Saturday, as previously announced.
A mix-up in production dates now means that Rally Tasmania will be shown on Channel 10 next Saturday, March 21st.

Dowel takes best ARC result in Rally of Canberra

 Activ RallySport have made their rivals in the Australian Rally
Championship sit up and take notice after Justin Dowel and Matt Lee
finished third outright in Heat 2 of the Rally of Canberra today.
Driving their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, the Victorian pair backed up
their fourth place from Heat 1 and finished the weekend fourth overall
– missing a podium placing by just seven seconds.
