Solid start for Dowel in Australian Rally Championship

 Activ RallySport driver Justin Dowel has started his 2011 Bosch Australian Rally Championship campaign in great fashion, taking third place in the opening heat of the series in Western Australia.
Disadvantaged by running as the first car on the slippery stages, Dowel and co-driver, Matt Lee, were forced to sweep the road for their rivals throughout the opening day’s 10 special stages.

Rally of firsts for Activ RallySport

 Activ RallySport driver, Justin Dowel, embarks on his 2011 Bosch Australian Rally Championship campaign this weekend, with the first round to be held around Busselton, south of Perth.
Dowel and co-driver, Matt Lee, are one of the leading contenders for this year’s title race, which will see a number of firsts for the Melbourne-based team.

Dowel finishes strong second in Rally Victoria
|
 Activ RallySport driver, Justin Dowel, has finished second in a rain shortened Rally Victoria, the final round of the 2010 Australian Rally Championship.
After leading the event after the first day’s four stages, Dowel and co-driver, Matt Lee, set about building on their advantage on day two, moving further ahead of local ace Glen Raymond.

 Activ RallySport driver Justin Dowel leads the Australian Rally Championship qualifying Rally Victoria after the first day.
Driving his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, Dowel and co-driver, Matt Lee, won half the day’s stages to take a narrow 0.2 second lead into the final day.

Dowel ready for ARC finale on home soil
|
 The Activ RallySport pairing of Justin Dowel and Matt Lee will put their Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX into battle for the final time this year when they tackle this weekend’s Rally Victoria.
The event is the final round of the 2010 Australian Rally Championship, and will see Dowel and Lee pushing for victory over the challenging gravel stages around Noojee and Powelltown, to the east of Melbourne.
