Dowel finishes rally season on a high note

 The Activ RallySport pairing of Justin Dowel and Matt Lee have finished second outright in the final round of the Victorian Rally Championship, the Akademos Rally, on October 18.
Driving their Lancer Evo IX, they led the event from the first stage and had established a 14 second margin heading into the final 19 kilometre test, only to have a punctured tyre cost them what would have been a well deserved victory.

Activ RallySport get back to basics

 Activ RallySport’s Justin Dowel and Matt Lee did their bit for club rallying when they ran as zero car at the Mt Porepunkah Rallysprint near Bright in north east Victoria on September 12.
Dowel and Lee used their Australian Rally Championship experience to drive over the stages before competition began, ensuring that everything was in readiness for the competing cars.

Dowel takes ARC class title at Rally SA

 Activ RallySport driver, Justin Dowel, has finished the 2009 Australian Rally Championship in fifth place after an impressive display on the final day of Rally South Australia.
Driving his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, Dowel and co-driver, Matt Lee, set top four stage times in all but one of the nine stages, including a career best second outright.

Great drive gives Dowel 4th in Heat 1 of Rally South Australia

 Activ RallySport’s Justin Dowel and Matt Lee have finished an impressive fourth in Heat 1 of Rally South Australia, the final round of the Australian Rally Championship.
Driving their Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, the Victorians had a trouble-free day on the shire and forestry roads in the Barossa Valley, maintaining their fourth place in the championship race.
